Estepona

Estepona

Estepona is a lovely Spanish town with a charming "Casco Antiguo" or "Old Town", beautiful long beaches and a busy, working, fishing marina

The Old Town

The old town is a maze of cobbled Spanish alleys, with some excellent tapas bars and restaurants.

In the centre, there are two main squares - "Plaza Arce" and "Plaza de las Flores". "Plaza de las Flores" is the place to head to take in a drink and some inexpensive tapas - sat amongst orange trees, the place has a wonderful atmosphere in the evenings

Estepona

The Marina

Estepona marina is situated at the end of the promenade. It's a lovely place to enjoy a stroll, watch the boats and enjoy some food in one of the many restaurants and bars.

You can also watch the many fisher boats coming in and out of the port, and the ensuing fish auction that takes place once the fish is unloaded

Estepona

There are 2 main beaches, "Playa La Rada" and "Playa del Christo".

Playa La Rada

La Rada stretches right along the main part of the town for two miles with its chiringuitos, or beach bars, along the way. For most of the way, it has a beautiful promenade which is lovely to walk along, stopping for the odd drink or tapas. A walk along here at sunset is highly recommended

Playa del Chisto

A small cove near the port, which means its sheltered waters provide a more secure place for small children. The two chiringuitos provide great value meals and an excellent place to enjoy a drink while watching the sunset
